Current Programs

Child bicycle helmets - Each year many children attend bicycle rodeos sponsored by the Fairfax County Police Department. Unfortunately, some of the children do not have safety helmets and must be turned away. The Fairfax County Law Enforcement Foundation provides safety helmets to the Police Department allowing those children to participate.

Retired K-9 medical care - When a police canine retires its medical insurance is lost. The Fairfax County Law Enforcement Foundation provides financial support toward retired police canine health care expenses.

Women's Self Defense Training - The Fairfax County Law Enforcement Foundation has been working with the Police Department to bring back women’s self defense training. Visit our Women’s Self Defense Training page to learn more.
